I love a good snack! Who doesn’t, right? Something sweet, salty, or both! I’ve been known to grab a handful of cashews, cereal, marshmallows, or the worst… salted caramel baking chips! Now that I have your mouth watering let’s talk some smack about snacks.

Setting goals gives us clear expectations of what we want. It is what drives us forward, gives us focus, and motivation. Here are my five S’s on how to set goals for success.
When we first start with a new client we often challenge them to write down their reason for wanting to make changes to their diet or exercise routine. We call it their “why” statement. For some people it is hard and for some it is easy. It is an important part of the process because not only does it come in handy later down the road when things get hard, but it helps to solidify the reason behind their decision to make changes.
